All the colour of Cambridge Folk Festival on BBC Sounds
7digital Creative have produced BBC Radio 2’s audio and social content from the 2023 Cambridge Folk Festival.
Mark Radcliffe presented a special 2-hour programme for BBC Sounds, featuring live music, interviews and backstage sessions from the famous event.
Artists included Lady Blackbird, Rufus Wainwright, Eliza Carthy & The Restitution, Angeline Morrison & The Sorrow Songs Band, Grace Petrie, Le Vent du Nord, Sharon Shannon, James Yorkston & Nina Persson.
The highly experienced 7digital team was thrilled to return to the site at Cherry Hinton Hall - a place where we have previously produced many hours of world-class music content for TV, radio and digital platforms.
We’ve produced festival coverage for nearly 30 years, and have previously covered Cambridge Folk Festival for Sky Arts and BBC Four. Other events have included Manchester International Festival, every single BBC 6 Music Festival (for BBC 6 Music), Glasgow’s Celtic Connections (for BBC Radio 2) and Cheltenham Jazz Festival (for BBC Radio 3).
